- Mine Overseer Certificate of Competence (Required):
- Demonstrated expertise in overseeing mining operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing production efficiency.
- Mine Manager Certificate (Advantageous): Possession of a Mine Manager Certificate will be considered a significant asset.
- Project Management Certificate/Qualification (Required): Essential for effective planning, execution, and control of mining projects.
- Minimum 10 Years Underground Production Experience: Proven track record in underground mining with a focus on safety, productivity, and operational excellence.
- Preferably as a Mining Contractor: Experience in managing projects as a Mining Contractor will be highly valued.
- Ability to Carry a Legal Appointment: Demonstrated capability to hold a legal appointment in accordance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage underground mining projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Optimize production processes to achieve efficiency and meet project timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to carry a legal appointment in the mining sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to negotiate and make decisions based on experience.
